Ingredients:

1 lb.  cups of LA Select raw shrimp (thawed)

4 eggs

1 cup Buttermilk

1 can 15oz cream style corn

1 can 14 oz sweet corn (drained)

1/3 cup of oil

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

3 boxes of Jiffy corn bread

1 teaspoon liquid crab boil

1 cup onion chopped fine

½  cup diced jalapeno pepper

1 tbs creole seasoning

Directions

In a medium bowl, combine the eggs, corn, oil and buttermilk.

Stir in the cornbread mix, onion, jalapenos, crab boil, shrimp, cheese, and creole seasoning.

Spray a bundt baking pan or casserole dish with cooking spray and pour in batter.

Bake 50 minutes to one hour in a 350-degree oven.

Top with Hot Honey Butter

1 cup unsalted butter                                        Melt all ingredients and poor over Cornbread.  Top with

2 tbsp local honey                                               green onions, purple onions, and grated cheese for Mardi

2 tbs local hot sauce                                         Gras colors!
