Shrimp and Okra Gumbo

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ocean Select Shrimp
  • 2 cups precut trinity mix
  • 2 lbs cut okra
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 4 quarts seafood stock
  • Dry roux mix
  • Creole seasoning to taste

Directions

  1. Sauté okra and trinity mix in oil.
  2. Cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Add dry roux mix and seafood stock.
  4. Mix with whisk until smooth.
  5. Bring to a boil and add Shrimp.
  6. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  7. Season with your favorite creole seasoning.
  8. Serve with rice or potato salad.
